“It was an ‘a-ha’ moment for me,” Chin said.
Since implementing Laserfiche, Actuaries Unlimited has been able to move into a smaller office space and reduce offsite storage. They eliminated a room of storage cabinets and cut moving costs by not having to transfer any paper files. The ease of access to their client data has saved thousands of dollars of valuable employee time.
“The work definitely gets out faster. We don’t need as much administrative staff,” Chin said. “We don’t have to file anything, so that saves hours.”
Senior Plan Administrator Paul Litchfield said he’s able to maximize his time and benefit clients by having all of his data available in Laserfiche.
“One of my jobs is a technical researcher, so I use Laserfiche to jump all over the place looking for answers about client history or technical regulations,” Litchfield said. “I call it the ‘answer apparatus’.”
