Sadaf Foods Goes Green, Becomes Faster and More Efficient with Laserfiche and Adjamian Affiliated Inc.
The Mediterranean gourmet food manufacturer wanted to increase their workflow and eliminate the amount of paper in their office. Employees were losing time hunting for files and then refilling them. Now, their productivity has been boosted and their office is paperless, thanks to Adjamian Affiliated and Laserfiche.
Los Angeles, CA — October 18, 2011 – Sadaf Foods is famous for their legendary grapeseed oil and other Mediterranean foods, herbs, spices and oils. But their workflow wasn’t keeping up with their business. Rebecca Banayan, who does Accounts payable for Sadaf Foods, said their 80+ employees were wasting too much looking for misplaced physical files.
“People were looking for stuff all the time,” Banayan said. “They were constantly filing and putting things away.”
The company had been looking to switch to a paperless office solution for a while.
“The time was right,” Banayan said.
They looked at a number of record management software options, but ultimately decided to have Adjamian Affiliated Inc. provide them with a Laserfiche solution.
“We looked at a few software options, but Laserfiche looked easy to use, it flowed so well,” Banayan said. “And I just liked the way Allen [Adjamian] conducted business.”
Sadaf Foods implemented Laserfiche about a year ago, and Banayan said they’ve been very pleased with it.
“The more technology we have, the happier I am!” Banayan said.
After initially implementing Laserfiche, Banayan said their workflow is much faster and more efficient as a result. Their employees like how easy it is to instantly retrieve documents right from their desks.
Saving space is another perk: Banayan said they had “maxed out” on filing cabinets before implementing Laserfiche, but now they were slowly getting rid of them and had more space for people to move around. She said they ultimately would like to convert some of the rooms that used to be dedicated to filing into workspace for new employees or other productive space.
